GHK-Cu Dosing in Published Research

GHK-Cu appears in the literature in both topical and injectable formats. This page summarizes the concentration ranges most commonly cited.

Topical research formulations

Topical cosmetic and dermatology research most commonly uses 0.05 %–2 % GHK-Cu by mass in a cream, gel, or serum base. Higher concentrations (up to 5 %) appear in some wound-healing studies.

Injectable research protocols

  • Rodent subcutaneous models typically dose 1–3 mg per administration site
  • Frequency in published models ranges from daily for short studies to 3× weekly for longer protocols
  • Ex-vivo human-skin studies use perfusion concentrations of 10–100 µg/mL

Reconstitution math

50 mg vial + 2 mL bacteriostatic water = 25 mg/mL. 100 mg vial + 5 mL = 20 mg/mL. Most research protocols then dilute further for the actual administration volume.

Storage

Lyophilized GHK-Cu: 24+ months at −20 °C. Reconstituted: 2–8 °C, used within 28 days. Avoid prolonged light exposure — GHK-Cu is sensitive to oxidation.
